I recently went to a touristy beer garden in Berlin where they apparently charge customers to use the restrooms. That is bad customer service. The Pod Wawelem in Krakow, Poland clearly believes in good customer service and I’m sure some of their heavier-drinking clientele appreciate this. That said, the guy who accidentally uses this sink to wash his hands just as someone bursts through the doors in desperate need of its other function might not be quite so appreciative.
This week’s photo was kindly provided by Alex and Bell of Wanderlust Marriage.
Lovely. I of course simply couldn’t resist opening a DMcB post that had the word “vomit” in it. 😉
(btw, thanks for the tips on Nepal!)
No problem, I hope some of it was helpful. Maybe I should find a way to work the word “vomit” into more of my post titles.
Thanks for posting the pic Daniel! Yes I definitely recommend that any beer drinker visit Pod Wawelem if they make it to Krakow. But hopefully they don’t need to use the vomit sink…I can’t believe that beer Garden in Berlin would charge people to use the bathroom. 50 cents, ah ok….blaaaaaah! They must like vomit on their tables.
No problem. Thanks again for the photo. I didn’t even try using the bathroom, but apparently, they charge one Euro. They probably deserve a little vomit on their tables…
To me a clean bathroom is definitely worth the 50 Cents the attendant usually charges.
True, if you’re talking about a public restroom in a train station or a park, but any decent restaurant should provide a clean bathroom free of charge.
Looks like a nice wide ‘can’t miss’ sink – I’m sure the cleaning staff doing the floors appreciate it.
Definitely. Although, the plumber who gets called in to unclog the drain is probably less thrilled…
hehe…not just vomiting but projectile vomiting. Love it.
Yeah, they must have some really potent beer…
